• War crimes suspects arrested in Bosnia February 22, 2012

  Three persons suspected of war crimes against Serbs in the Dretelj camp were arrested in Mostar, Ljubuški and Tešanj on Wednesday morning.
  
  Members of the State Investigation and protection Agency arrested Srećko Herceg and Ivan Medić from Ljubusko, Ivan Zelenika from Mostar and Marina Grubešić Fejzić from Čapljina, who is currently residing in Tesanj, Radio and Television of Republic of Srpska has reported.

• Elections in Kosovo "delicate issue", says speaker February 22, 2012

  Parliament Speaker Slavica Đukić-Dejanović says holding of local elections in Kosovo is "a delicate issue due to the cooperation with international community".
  
  “The fact is that the issue of realization of the local elections in Kosovo and Metohija is delicate because there are certain segments of the UN Security Council Resolution 1244 that require cooperation with the international community,” she told weekly Novi magazine.

• UN inspectors barred from Iranian nuclear site February 22, 2012

  The UN nuclear watchdog says talks with Iran have failed over its disputed atomic activities.
  
  After two days of negotiations a senior team from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been unable to get permission to visit the key military site at Parchin. They suspect it is being used as a test centre for weapon development.

  The state of emergency will, however, stay in effect in some 15 municipalities, Interior Ministry Emergency Situations Sector Head Predrag Marić told Tanjug.

  United Regions of Serbia (URS) leader Mlađan Dinkić has said that Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadić must not agree to a coalition with the Progressives.
  
  “As long as Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadić does not state publicly, loud and clear, that he will not enter a coalition with Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Tomislav Nikolić under any circumstances, a post election coalition between the two is possible,” the former minister pointed out.

  Serbian government's Media Office Chief Milivoje Mihajlović has stated that it is realistic to expect that Belgrade and Priština will reach an agreement today or tomorrow.

• Belgrade-Priština talks postponed for Wednesday February 21, 2012

  The negotiations between teams of Belgrade and Priština were set to continue on Tuesday in Brussels, but the meeting has been postponed for Wednesday.
  
  This was announced after it became clear that the Priština delegation, that was scheduled to arrive in Brussels on Monday evening, only left for the Belgian capital around noon on Tuesday.

• Russian envoy warns about "price of joining EU" February 21, 2012

  Russian Ambassador Aleksandr Konuzin says his country is not opposed to Serbia joining the EU, but that Serbia should decide on the price it was ready to pay.
  
  "I do not wish for the price to be a deterioration of relations with Russia," Konuzin told reporters in the central Serbian town of Čačak on Tuesday.
